visiting guidelines:

Addis Skatepark is located at a public government youth center which is frequented by neighborhood youth and adults for many activities outside the skatepark.

  • No drugs or alcohol in youth center

  • Ask permission before using a camera

  • Be mindful of your things - don’t leave bags unattended

  • Don’t bring bags of donated gear to the park - contact us to coordinate an organized donation drop

  • Have fun and tag/share any skatepark photos with @addispark or @ethiopiaskate

keep it rolling:

Every year, Ethiopia Skate collaborates with volunteers to maintain and improve Addis Skatepark. We don’t receive any local funding and rely solely on donations to keep it rolling.

BUILDING Addis Skatepark (2016):

Addis Skatepark was made a reality through a collaboration with Make Life Skate Life and the support of over 250 donors from around the world. This project would not have been possible without the support of over 60 volunteer builders who worked day and night to build this park in just 3 weeks.
