This short video was made for our Addis Skatepark crowdfunding campaign. Together with Make Life Skate Life we successfully raised the funds necessary to build Addis Skatepark in 2016.

The Very Best - Makes A King (2015)

We collaborated with our friends The Very Best, a half Swedish, half Malawian afrobeat duo, on this video for the title track of their album Makes A King. Watch the crew skate the serene streets of Awassa and push down Langano highways to Addis Ababa- the home of Ethiopia Skate. With youth fearlessly powersliding steep hills and flying off ledges in Piassa, the future of street skateboarding in Ethiopia is bright.

Skateboard Journey (2014)

The team on a journey in search of skate spots as the new generation of Ethiopian skaters break new ground in the mission to get skateboarding on the map. Thanks to everyone who has supported the growth of skating in our country. Skateboarders unite! We just want to skate.

Message to the World (2013)

This is the story of a group of kids in Ethiopia bringing the world of skateboarding to their homeland. With only 7 boards between 25 kids they ask for help from the world community of skaters as they enter a new frontier of skateboarding. We just want to skate.
